After having been out-bid by the creator of Minecraft Markus Persson for one of Beverly Hill's most stylish homes in December, the couple have found a runner-up home. They just purchased this LA mansion (pictured above) for $25 million. In my humble opinion, the design of this home leaves much to be desired and feels quite stale.
The concrete driveway lacks any character. Even more unimpressive is the 90s McMansion architecture of the home. The interiors reflect that of a banker who had his grandmother Bunny decorate his Upper East Side apartment.
The mansion has over 20,000 square feet, 5 bedrooms and 5 baths.
While the amount of beige in this house is daunting, the only redeeming quality seems to be the outdoor pool with beautiful green hedges. It still has some ways to go though. Let's hope that they hire a great architect to overhaul this home and feature it in Architectural Digest in a year from now.
