It's not often that a restaurant encapsulates organic modern design and Michelin worthy meals. Most Michelin restaurants have a stuffy decor that is meant to feel modern and sleek, but instead makes guests feel uncomfortable. That's what's so great about The Musket Room in New York City's Nolita neighborhood. The decor feels modern and cozy so that the food can speak for the restaurant. It's easily one of the most romantic restaurants in New York City.
Chef Matt Lambert, known by the staff as Musket Matt, brings the clean and modern decor found throughout his native country New Zealand and neighboring Australia to NYC's hip neighborhood Nolita. The 70-seat restaurant was designed by Alexander Waterworth Interiors to blend traditional and rustic decor, giving it it's romantic charm.
The Musket Room picks produce fresh from its garden in the back.
While the decor is understated and chic, the food presentation is also a work of art.
